Flashes of my future

It’s no secret that I love all things Phil Spector. The wave of his gratuitously excessive production wand created some of the most magical songs in the history of pop music. For better or for worse, I—like so many others—have copied him over and over and over. I’ve even crafted an EP solely around samples of his songs.

But I probably shouldn’t travel too far down that emulative road lest I, too, morph into Gollum.
